Dental implants treatment

New Life Teeth is a high-technology practice. We have a team of experts in Dental Implants, supported by Dental Technicians who make dental implants in the lab and Dental Hygienists who provide dental implant care following treatment.

Our dental implant team work together to make the process quick, easy and affordable with dental finance options for each customer. When you have missing teeth or they have to be removed, the ideal solution is to arrange for dental implants so that you can:

  • Have the diet that you want. You can eat what you want and foods you may have avoided because of your teeth can go back on the menu.

  • Eat comfortably again, being able to bite and chew food as you would with your natural teeth.

  • Achieve a natural look and smile with natural-looking teeth that you have always wanted.

  • Enjoy socialising with friends and smile confidently, eating out again.

  • Have no damage to your remaining teeth.

  • Stop bone shrinkage and stop your face from changing shape.

  • Help to reduce an aging effect that tooth loss contributes to.

  • Restore and rebuild lost tissue.

  • Fully understand the process as it’s less complicated to look after your teeth and maintain than a conventional bridge or dentures.

  • Eliminate dentures and denture fixative or dental glues.

  • Achieve a lifetime solution without having to remove your teeth or remove dentures.

What Happens During Dental Surgery at New Life Teeth

First, a thorough assessment is required to determine your suitability for treatment. This includes a CT bone density scan to evaluate your jawbone's density, width, and depth, along with additional X-ray reviews to ensure everything is in order.

At New Life Teeth in Dublin, we provide local anaesthetic and sedation options for a painless treatment experience during dental implant procedures.

Following implant placement, temporary restorations are fitted, allowing you to resume normal activities within a day or two.

Stitches are typically removed after 10-14 days, allowing for the gradual transition to soft solid foods.

Approximately eight weeks post-implant placement, you can return to eating normally, and impressions are taken for your final bridge.

Regular check-ups and hygiene visits twice a year are crucial for the long-term success of your implants and for ensuring optimal oral health.

Fixed teeth in a day

Many people want to hang on to their last few teeth, but this is often postponing the inevitable, as more force is applied them.

The remaining teeth are often used to anchor dentures and these eventually become loose and uncomfortable, especially with jaw bone shrinkage. If you have less than 6 natural teeth left in any one jaw, it’s unlikely these teeth will last your lifetime.

Dental implants can act like a tooth root, anchored into the jaw bone. Implants a perfect solution as the post is screwed onto the implant, and this supports a crown, bridge or denture. Dental implants with the ‘same day teeth’ solution, help to stabilise the jawbone and stop it from shrinking.

Composite bonding

Composite bonding in Dublin could be your solution for dramatic results in just one affordable appointment. Composite bonding treatment at New Life Teeth in Dublin is incredibly popular with our patients due to its immediate impact on a smile. In just one appointment, we can transform chipped teeth, uneven spacing, irregularly shaped or sized teeth, misalignments, and even stubborn stains.

We will apply tooth-coloured filling material in layers to the tooth surface, mould it into the desired shape, and then harden it with a special light. The bonded material provides added strength and support to weakened or damaged teeth, helping to prevent further deterioration and potential tooth loss.

Composite bonding is part of a more comprehensive treatment plan, such as following Invisalign to perfect the final smile. Alternatively, it can be enjoyed as a standalone treatment for dramatic results in just one appointment.

Dental Veneers in Dublin

Dental veneers are a popular choice among patients seeking a cosmetic solution if you have broken or chipped teeth, unevenly spaced or misaligned teeth, or teeth that need to be improved in size or shape.

Dental veneers are fragile shells made of porcelain or composite resin that fit onto the front of your teeth to mask imperfections and provide long-lasting aesthetic results. At New Life Teeth in Dublin, we use the finest dental materials to ensure optimal shade, size, and shape for your veneers.

During your first appointment, your dentist will remove a small amount of dental enamel from the surface of your teeth before placing your temporary veneers. In contrast, your permanent ones are crafted in our dental lab.

When they are ready, we'll replace temporary veneers with your permanent veneers, ensuring the perfect shape, size, and fit for your smile. If required, we will adjust your veneers before permanently fitting them.

Are you ready to enhance your smile with dental veneers?

Book your cosmetic consultation today at New Life Teeth in Dublin.
