Are Dental Implants Right For You?

If you're looking for a full smile restoration, full mouth implants might be the solution you're looking for.

You're a good candidate if:

  • You have one or more missing teeth

  • You have failing teeth that need replacement

  • You want a permanent solution rather than removable dentures

  • You desire natural-looking and functioning teeth

  • You're committed to maintaining good oral hygiene

A consultation with an experienced implant dentist can help determine if implants are the right choice for your specific situation.

FAQ about dental implant cost

Are full dental implants available on the NHS?

It's important to note that full mouth dental implants are not typically available on the NHS. While the NHS may provide basic dental implant treatment in specific cases (such as after accident or illness), most patients will need to seek private treatment for comprehensive implant solutions. We are in no way related to the NHS.

How much is a full set of dental implants?

The cost of full mouth dental implants at New Life Teeth starts at £16,500 for both jaws. This all-inclusive price covers the initial consultation, CT scans, surgical placement of 4-6 implants per jaw, temporary prosthetics, and the final restoration with our Prettau® Zirconia Teeth Forever® bridge. Our package also includes a 15-year mechanical warranty and a 5-year biological warranty.

Should I get dentures or dental implants?

At New Life Teeth we offer both dentures and dental implants so we can provide an unbiased answer on this. We highly recommend opting for implants where possible. Dentures do not solve the problem, and can actually make your tooth loss worse. When you get implants, they mimick your natural teeth, strengthening the bone around them, preventing further bone loss.

Does it hurt?

At New Life Teeth, we prioritize your comfort throughout the entire implant procedure. The treatment itself is carried out under local anaesthetic, and we provide IV sedation at no additional cost to ensure a pain-free experience. Thanks to our advanced surgical techniques and state-of-the-art technology, most patients are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the procedure is.

While it's normal to experience some post-operative tenderness and swelling for a few days after the procedure, this is typically mild and easily managed with prescribed medications. Our clinical team provides comprehensive pre- and post-operative care instructions, and our specially trained patient coordinators remain available to support you throughout the healing process. Most patients return to their normal activities within a few days, reporting that any discomfort was much less than they anticipated.

Why Do Dental Implants Cost So Much?

The cost of dental implants reflects several important factors that ensure the highest quality, safety, and longevity of your treatment:

The cost includes not just the implants themselves, but a complete package of care including:
- Initial consultations and detailed treatment planning
- IV sedation for comfort
- Temporary teeth while your permanent restoration is crafted
- Long-term warranties (15-year mechanical and 5-year biological)
- Ongoing support through our private patient app

Our in-house dental laboratory crafts your custom prosthetics using advanced milling technology and skilled technicians, ensuring the highest quality and perfect fit.

Unlike other tooth replacement options that may need frequent replacement, dental implants can last a lifetime with proper care, making them a cost-effective solution in the long run. Additionally, our flexible payment options help make this investment more manageable for our patients.
