Dr. John Clydesdale

John graduated from Queens University of Belfast, with a distinction in the practice of dentistry in 2001. John then moved to Edinburgh to continue his career and has worked in the Edinburgh area since 2001. Over the years John has pursued an intensive post graduate education completing and passing the required examinations and coursework to become a member of the joint dental faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, as well as a member of the faculty of dental surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
John's main area of interest is implant dentistry and he has completed the Royal College of Surgeons of England implant diploma course; this allows John to provide patients with more complex predictable dental implant treatment. Further to this John completed his fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is regularly involved with the training and education with teaching of other dentists.
John particularly enjoys providing immediate full arch implants with same day teeth. Dr Clydesdale works closely with other colleagues and he referrals from a number of dentists from Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.
Gregor McIntosh, BDS MFDS

Gregor qualified from the University of Dundee in 2011. Shortly after this he gained membership to the Royal college of surgeons in Edinburgh.
Gregor is committed to furthering his knowledge and has undergone a number of post graduate courses to ensure he can provide his patients with the smile they desire. He is able to provide short term orthodontic solutions and is certified to provide Inman aligners, Clear aligners and Cfast.
Gregor has a special interest in implant dentistry. He is currently undergoing further training to carry out implant placements and is working towards gaining a diploma in the area.
Outside dentistry, he enjoys all sports including rugby, golf and football. He also likes spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Arvind Sharma BDS, MSc (Endodontology), MJDF RCS, MFDS RCPS

Dr. Arvind Sharma qualified in 1996 from the University of Dundee. Arvind has completed a Master’s degree in Endodontology at the University of Central Lancashire, passing with Merit and has gained membership through examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012 and Glasgow in 2016.
Having worked many years in general practice he has now limited his work to Endodontics providing his services in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Using contemporary equipment, (including a microscope), materials and techniques.
Arvind accepts referrals for all aspects of non-surgical endodontic treatments from first primary treatments to re-treatments and includes management of cases with complex anatomy, sclerosis, open apices, perforation repair and removal/retrieval of fractured posts and separated instruments.
Arvind is committed to education, providing post-graduate lectures and training for NHS Education for Scotland. He is an active member of the British Endodontic Society, The Royal Odonto-Chirurgical Society of Scotland and is a Certified Dentsply Maillefer Trainer.
In addition to his clinical role within the clinic, Dr Sharma will also provide a range of courses for general dental practitioners wishing to enhance their endodontic knowledge and skill.

Paul qualified with commendation from the University of Dundee in 2011. He then completed a 2 year postgraduate training which exposed him to a variety of different settings including restorative and paediatric dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery, special needs and anxiety management. During this time, he also gained membership to the Royal College of surgeons in Edinburgh.
Paul has undertaken a variety of courses which allow him to provide his patients with the best results possible including cosmetic crowns, tooth whitening and short term orthodontics using Cfast and clear aligners.
Paul’s main interest lies in the field of implant dentistry. He has completed postgraduate training and is able to place and restore dental implants to replace missing teeth. He is currently a member of the Association of Dental Implantology and attends regular courses working towards gaining his diploma in this field.
Outside of work, Paul has a passion for fitness and nutrition. He trains regularly in crossfit and is also interested in powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting.
Daniel Benson, DMD, MOM, MSc implantology

Daniel's practice is limited to oral surgery, implant surgery and aesthetic dentistry. He received his undergraduate dental degree from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary in 2006.
Daniel enjoyed working in private practices as a general dentist in Budapest and Edinburgh for several years prior to receiving his training and master’s degree of oral medicine in dental implantology and dentoalveolar surgery at the International Medical College, University of Muenster, Germany, in 2011 and 2013. Since then, he has worked for several dental practices based in Budapest, London Harley Street and in Ireland, providing visiting dental surgery and implant services.
After a year in Perth, Australia, he is excited to be back in Edinburgh providing life-changing implant treatments for his patients. Daniel has a young family keeping him busy outside of work.

Debbie obtained her Level 3 SQV in oral health care dental nursing qualification in 2013 at Dundee. She later completed Part 1 of her Sedation with SAAD in London in 2014 as well as obtaining her Radiography qualification in 2016 with the BDA. Debbie has 5 years’ experience with complex implant cases, sedation and other areas of specialist dentistry.
Debbie has experience working in NHS/Private/specialist dentistry.
In Debbie's spare time she enjoys the gym, socialising with friends and planning her next adventure to a sunny destination.
Rob Leggett, RDT Dip CDT RCS Ed
Head Clinical Dental Technician

Rob qualified as a dental technician in 1997 from Edinburgh's Telford College. He has worked in a mixture of the private and public sector spending 10 years working in the NHS including Glasgow Dental Hospital and Edinburgh's Dental Institute.
In February 2009 Rob returned to study a diploma in Clinical Dental Technology which was the first CDT course to be run in the UK, qualifying through the Royal College of Surgeons in December 2009. After qualifying as a Clinical Dental Technician Rob worked in private practice in Fife doing all aspects involved in the construction and fitting of dentures.
In January 2013 Rob began Scottish Denture Clinic in Edinburgh and currently lectures student Dental technicians at Edinburgh's College. In his spare time Rob is a keen cyclist and regularly takes part in sportives around the country.
Rosa Garcia, HND Dental Technology, RDT

Rosa finished her HND in 2006 in Edinburgh's Telford College. After qualifying with excellent results, she was offered a position at the college itself. She then completed a Vocational Training for Dental Technicians, where she had the opportunity to work alongside patients in Glasgow Dental Hospital.
Following Rosa's development as Dental Technician she worked for Private Dental Laboratory, strengthening her learning in all disciplines in the field. Motivated by her willingness to be trained in the construction of Cosmetics dentures, Rosa started working for a private practice in Fife where she soon stood out for her attention to detail and neat work. In 2013 she moved on to work with Rob and his team of technicians.
Rosa enjoys travelling, in particular going back to see her family in Spain.
Duncan Robertson, RDT
Lead Dental Technician

Duncan qualified as a master ceramic technician in 2003 from Edinburgh’s Telford College specialising in fixed prosthodontics and ceramics.
He has over 15 years of experience in the dental industry working in public & private sectors and has also worked as a lecturer at Edinburgh’s Telford College delivering the dental technology course to all levels.
Duncan has a keen interest in aesthetics and porcelain work and continually looks to strengthen his knowledge and skills. He is always looking to learn new techniques and likes to keep up with the latest systems and materials.
Away from work Duncan enjoys climbing mountains, rugby, snowboarding and looking for the next adrenaline rush.
Trainee Dental Technician

Jade grew up in the Orkney Islands where she trained as a Dental Nurse. Working in practice since 2012, she has a keen interest in Implant Surgery and restorative dentistry. This interest brought her to Edinburgh in 2016 where began studying Dental Technology.
Jade enjoys being able to learn from our highly trained technicians, and also being able to see the results in surgery.
As Jade is relatively new to Edinburgh, in her spare time she enjoys exploring the city and finding new places to socialise with friends. She also likes to travel back to Orkney to spend time on the family farm.

Anna is a fully qualified dental technician, registered with the General Dental Council.
She graduated from Edinburgh's Telford College in June 2011 after completing the HND in dental technology with excellent results.
Anna gained her experience in prosthetic dentistry working for both NHS and Private sectors.
She updates her skills on a regular basis to keep up to date with new technologies and techniques to provide a high quality of service and professionalism to both patients and Dental Surgeons.

In her spare time, she enjoys long hikes, traveling and reading books.

Kamila is qualified and registered with GDC as a Dental Technician after completing her HNC in 2012.
In 2017, she successfully completed a Straumann Bespoke Overdenture course that allowed her to become a Straumann Platinum Dental Technician.
Her aim is to produce work of the highest standard and to build up a strong knowledge in the digital dental field. She also has a particular interest in implant retained hybrids bars and overdentures.
When Kamila is not in Laboratory, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and loves to travel.
