FAQ - Full Arch Implants

What are full arch dental implants?

The full arch dental implant procedure – often referred to as ‘All-on-4®’, 'teeth in a day', 'same day teeth' or the 'same day smile‘- is a hugely popular solution that can permanently replace an entire arch of teeth - either upper or lower. The main procedure takes only one day.

I don't need a full arch, can I get single dental implants?

Yes, we do offer single dental implants. these can be a more flexible and affordable solution for patients who have suffered damage to only one or a few of their teeth, for example through a sports injury.

What if I don’t have enough bone?

The majority of patients will have enough bone for this treatment. Even if you don’t this needn’t necessarily prevent you from receiving full arch dental implants. Once your x-rays have been taken, it may be that extra long dental implants can be offered if you don’t have enough bone available in your jaw.

How long will the treatment take?

The main procedure – to install your implants and fit your bespoke prototype bridge – really does take just one day. After a few months to let your implants settle we’ll replace the prototype with your new set of teeth.

How much does the procedure cost?

You can find full details of the cost of a single arch zirconia implant on our Pricing page. The cost includes full consultations, aftercare and a one year warranty. Finance is available.

I’m a little anxious. Which sedation options are available?

There are a range of sedation options available. Oral sedatives are the most popular choice although there is also the option to take the medication intravenously for deeper sedation, should you wish.

How long is the recovery period?

After the main procedure you will experience some bruising. However, we’ll ensure you have the right medication to help you manage pain relief and you will be able to resume normal activities within a day or so.
